Wildermage: Glade Guardians FAQ
-
Does the game start with a Fae in the Glade Garden?
-
No. The Fae only enters when after you complete a successful bloom (on three non-corrupted stems).
-
-
Do my spells resolve into the discard pile?
-
No. Spells resolve into the compost pile. A spell only goes into the discard pile when you discard a card at the end of your turn.
-
-
Do I compost cards that cast a spell into the Glade Garden?
-
No. Instead, it is placed into the Glade Garden. It remains there until the effect is activated. After it is activated, place it into the compost pile.
-
-
Purify vs Repel.
-
Purify means remove that (already active) corruption from the game.
-
Repel means stop corruption before it enters the garden by returning it to the bottom of the garden deck.
-
-
Can I cast a spell if, for my action, I took another 2 cards from the spell deck?
-
No. For your action, you can either draw 2 cards, or cast a spell, or pass your turn.
-
-
How do I add stems to the seeds?
-
Stems are contained within the garden deck. You draw from the garden deck after you cast a spell. If you draw a stem, you may place it on any seed/stem, unless a seed/stem has corruption on it, or if you already have 3 stems on a seed.
-
-
Must I place corruption on a healthy seed/stem?
-
Yes. It must be placed on a healthy seed/stem, unless you have an active spell to repel corruption. If all 4 of your seed/stems are corrupted, you lose.
-
-
Can I win the game if any of my 4 completed plants have a corruption on them?
-
No. You must remove the corruption from your plants before you can win.
